Use this dialog box to define the parameters of your scenario report. Procedures for using each command in the dialog box are provided below.
From the Scenarios menu, click Financial, then click Create.
In the Currency list, click the appropriate currency denomination with which to report the portfolio values.
In the Type list select the risk factors to search the available risk factors you can apply to the report.
Click the the Search button to show only the selected types of risks in the Risk Factors scroll box.
In the Risk Factor scroll box, click the appropriate risk factor you want to modify for your scenario.
In the Trigger time box you can lag the impact of when the overall scenario will occur. To set a trigger time, type a new value over the default value, or click the scroll arrows to increase or decrease the number shown. Then click the appropriate time period from the adjacent menu.
Click Preview after highlighting a risk factor to launch a new window that summarizes the risk factor's curve or index value.
To modify a risk factor, you need to move it to the table in the lower half of the new scenario window. To move a risk factor, highlight the desired risk factor in the risk factor scroll list, then click the down arrow. The collection of risk factors in this lower table represents a scenario. Next, click the appropriate risk factor, then click Modify to choose from three curve modifiers.
To remove a risk factor from the lower modification table area, highlight it, then click the up-arrow.
The Name column header in the lower table area lists the risk factor name(s) that you have selected for the scenario.
The Modifier column header in the lower table area displays the type of modification that you have made for any given risk factor, for example: set to, factor or offset.
The Value column header in the lower table area displays the numerical modification you have made to any given risk value.
